  I made the “last minute” booking since due to some weather issues I had to spend one night in Istanbul waiting for my upcoming friends. My Mom and I stayed in Maya hotel in 2004, so I thought it might be cute to stay here in 20 years. Maya was good in 2004 but today in 2024 I can say it is excellent. Great location, not very crowed streets, no tourist buses and slow tourist groups. Hotel is clean, bed linen good, water pressure in shower good, no smell, complimentary water and juice, very good breakfast (no champagne and strawberries, but all what we used to have for breakfast: eggs, sausages, cheese, tomatoes, crunches etc). Greatest option for 1-2 nights in Istanbul. The stuff was very helpful.

  Very good value for money. You have everything you need to stay in the heart of Istanbul during your trip. Friendly personnel, clean functional bathrooms, air conditioning, daily cleaning, water in the fridge, breakfasts etc. Excellent location – most of the key city sites are within 20 min walk.
