  Good communication prior to arrival and during stay. Room was ready on time and reception staff were friendly. We were able to get 2 sets of keys. There is a lift. Good security.
  We loved the location, near the No1 Tram and the Kabatas ferry terminal. Also easy access to small shops and a supermarket. Very quiet, which was appreciated in a large city.

  The best compliment I can give a place is that I plan to come back next year and would likely rent again with the understanding of some of the issues. Although the price is a little steep as a solo traveler for a two-bedroom – I loved it! The view was awesome, The place is pretty quiet. There is a school close by but it's just a little bit of noise I found during the day only. I got to relax on the terrace and drink coffee during different times of the day. I spent a whole day and never left the apartment it was very relaxing.
  Found that the house is very representative of the photos. Any dealing with staff were great, although felt a bit "bot-ish" in their response they were very kind. The house is a little more dated than the photos – but that's to be expected of a rental but I would still say very representative. I would definitely say it's clean.
  Had ample towels, toilet paper, paper towels that one would need – especially as a solo traveler.
  Place is in a secure building and the door is very secure. So as a female solo traveler I felt very safe in the building, the apartment, and the neighborhood.
  I love that it's in walking distance of a few different food shops, different types of restaurant and very close to the shopping district – much closer than it appeared on Google maps. Getting to the water was quick and the road was at least all downhill to get to it.
  I do plan to return to Istanbul again and I very much expect to use this rental again if it's available. You can rent expecting a lovely view (very much matching the one I had at the Hilton down the street) in a very safe building and neighborhood. In the apartment gives you many areas to spread out. It's a lot of apartment for one person and definitely more suited towards a family – but I loved it all the same.

  This apartment was a great “crash pad” for my friend and I while we visited Istanbul. The location is convenient for active guests. Another review mentioned the hills, and they weren’t joking! I didn’t know that Istanbul’s geography is reminiscent of San Francisco’s. With the right pair of walking shoes, though, everything is within reach: two supermarkets up the hill, multiple mom-and-pop places just down the hill, and a handful of great dining options within minutes in either direction. It should be noted that this apartment is not located “in the thick of it” in Istanbul, but rather a few minutes’ walk from the center of the action. This was a benefit to the place in our opinion, however. The neighborhood was safe and quiet and far more scenic than properties at the top of the hill, in Beyoğlu city center. As mentioned, all the necessary conveniences were still within walking distance. We were frequent riders of the tram at the bottom of the hill, too, which was easy to access and took us to every major attraction on our itinerary. Plus, if you book a cruise on the Bosporus during your stay—which you should!—chances are it will depart from the ferry terminal that is directly below this apartment, no transit required.
  
  The property itself is very spacious. We were just two people, with our own bedrooms, bathrooms, and a powder room to spare. The kitchen has a large island and enough tools and utensils to make it through your stay. The beds were comfortable, with four pillows apiece. Water pressure in the bathrooms was not an issue, and while it was very hot in Istanbul during our stay, the AC in each room was up to the job. We honestly didn’t spend much time indoors, though, because the heart of this home is the top-floor terrace, which offers an incredible view of the neighborhood and the Bosporus below.
  
  I met two staff members during my stay; one was a woman who greeted me at check-in, while the other was a man who helped us the next day. Both were friendly.
