Taksim Square is a quick metro ride away, and there’s this fantastic local market just two blocks over where you can grab fresh simit in the morning. The couples who stay here aren’t wrong when they rave about the location — it’s got that perfect balance of accessibility without the chaos.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious for Istanbul standards, and I mean that in the best way possible. The design keeps that white-and-wood theme going, but it doesn’t feel sterile — there are these nice Turkish textile touches that remind you where you are. The bed was actually comfortable (you know how hit-or-miss hotel beds can be), and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that actually works properly. What really impressed me was the soundproofing — even though you’re in the heart of the city, nights are genuinely quiet.

The staff pointed me toward this amazing kebab place about five minutes away that I never would have found on my own. That’s the kind of local knowledge that makes a difference.
