The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was thoughtfully designed, with enough space to actually unpack and settle in for a few days. The beds are comfortable (and I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms are modern without being sterile. You know what I appreciated most? The windows actually open, which sounds basic but isn’t always guaranteed in city hotels. The air conditioning works well too, which you’ll definitely want during Istanbul’s warmer months.

The fact that they have private parking is actually huge if you’re driving in Istanbul — trust me, you don’t want to deal with street parking in Beyoglu.   1. Great location. Right across is the Sishane metro (exit at Vergi Dairesi) n round the left corner is another Sishane metro exit: 6. Daire that can lead to the iconic Tunel funicular that runs conveniently n only to Karakoy Pier. Galata Tower n Istikal Street are well within reach too. Evening sees pedestrians sitting down to enjoy sunset right at the concourse between hotel n metro.
  2. Big Chefs restaurant is attached to the hotel, providing some good choice breakfast n room service. The serving team is friendly.
