Floor-to-ceiling windows make the space feel huge, and the marble bathroom actually lives up to five-star expectations. What I really appreciated was the soundproofing, because let’s be real, Taksim can get loud, especially on weekends. The beds are properly comfortable (not just hotel-marketing comfortable), and there’s enough parking space if you’re brave enough to drive in Istanbul — though I’d honestly recommend sticking to the metro.

The breakfast spread is where this place really shines — both continental and buffet options that go way beyond the usual hotel fare. You’ll find everything from fresh Turkish pastries to proper international dishes, and the coffee is actually good (which isn’t always a given). The restaurant upstairs serves solid Turkish cuisine with those Bosphorus views I mentioned, though you’re also surrounded by some of Istanbul’s best dining just steps away.
