The building itself has this understated elegance that feels authentically Turkish without being overly touristy, which honestly surprised me given how close it is to all the major sights.

Here’s what I love about staying in Fatih — you’re literally walking distance from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace, but the moment you step onto Samsa Street, the tourist crowds just melt away.
