The location on Istiklal Caddesi is absolutely brilliant — I mean, you’re literally on one of the city’s most famous pedestrian streets, which means everything is walkable. Taksim Square is just a few minutes away, and you can easily stroll down to Galata Tower or catch the historic tram that runs right along the street. What couples seem to love most (and the 9.6 location rating from couples backs this up) is how you’re in the heart of Beyoglu’s vibrant nightlife and cultural scene, but the hotel itself feels like a peaceful retreat from all the energy outside.

The Room Experience

The beds here are genuinely something special — and I’m usually pretty skeptical when hotels make claims about comfort, but this four-star property really delivers on that promise. Each room has this cozy, residential feel that makes you want to actually spend time there rather than just crash for the night. The windows offer glimpses of the bustling street life below, which is perfect for people-watching, though the rooms stay surprisingly quiet considering you’re right in the middle of everything.

Exploring the Neighborhood

What I love about staying here is how you can step outside and immediately dive into authentic Istanbul life. The street food vendors, the bookshops, the art galleries — they’re all right there. You can grab a quick bite from one of the local spots (there’s this amazing fish sandwich place nearby that locals queue up for), or if you’re feeling fancy, there are some really good rooftop restaurant options within walking distance. The whole Beyoglu district has this bohemian energy that feels very different from the more touristy areas across the Golden Horn.

  The location is perfect to get to anywhere you need to go in Istanbul. It is on Istiklal street but there is no noise from the street. I have stayed in 3 different rooms here and each one is more beautiful than the next. The sea view rooms have the most gorgeous view of the Bosphorous and the other rooms have the best of view of Istiklal Street. It is completely private and you feel like you’re in your own apartment. The staff are so friendly and helpful, especially Emre, he went above and beyond to accommodate my request for a room change. also was able to answer any questions I had about the area and was just all around extremely helpful. The cleaning staff is so friendly and helpful also. This place is run very efficiently and I can’t say enough good things about it..

  Another great stay in Ravouna 1906 which becomes my place in Istanbul and now for my family. Central location in Taksim, Istakal street, in a beautiful historical building, spacious, elegant and tastily decorated rooms, with both options sea or city view. Rooms are comfortable, cosy, perfectly clean… in the bathroom collection of iconic care products of Atelier Rebul that we have discovered thanks to Ravouna. Special thanks to the Gentelman at the reception, always nice and helpful.
