Ramada Plaza By Wyndham Istanbul Tekstilkent
First Impressions
Walking into Ramada Plaza By Wyndham Istanbul Tekstilkent, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a hotel in the Esenler district — but this place completely changed my perspective. The lobby has this polished, contemporary feel that immediately signals you’re in a five-star property, even though you’re outside the typical tourist zones. What struck me most was how the staff seemed genuinely happy to see guests, not just going through the motions like at some of the more touristy spots in Istanbul.
The Tekstilkent Advantage
Here’s what most travelers don’t realize about staying in Tekstilkent — you’re actually in one of Istanbul’s major business hubs, which means everything runs efficiently and the infrastructure is solid. The parking situation alone is worth mentioning because, let’s be honest, finding free parking anywhere in Istanbul is like striking gold. The hotel sits right on Tekstilciler Caddesi, so you’ve got easy access to the main roads without dealing with the chaos of the historic center. I mean, sometimes you want to experience Istanbul without fighting through crowds just to get back to your hotel.
Sleep Quality That Actually Delivers
You know what really impressed me? The beds here are genuinely comfortable — and I’m someone who usually struggles with hotel mattresses. There’s something about the room setup that just works; the blackout curtains actually block light, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, and the pillows have that perfect balance of support and softness. I noticed a lot of business travelers here, and honestly, they know what they’re doing when it comes to picking places that prioritize rest. The rooms feel spacious too, which is refreshing after staying in some of those cramped boutique places in Sultanahmet.
Morning Fuel
The breakfast buffet here is actually substantial — not just pastries and coffee, but proper Turkish breakfast items alongside international options. I found myself going back for seconds of the menemen and fresh bread, which isn’t something I usually do at hotel breakfasts. The dining area gets busy around 8 AM with business guests, but there’s always space and the staff keeps everything well-stocked. It’s the kind of breakfast that sets you up properly for a day of exploring or meetings, depending on what brings you to Istanbul.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is the repeat guest factor — and after staying here, I get it. It’s that rare combination of luxury amenities without the pretentious atmosphere, plus practical benefits like reliable wifi and that free parking I mentioned. Couples seem to particularly appreciate the peaceful vibe; you can actually have a conversation in the lobby without shouting over crowds. The location works brilliantly if you’re doing business in the area, but it’s also well-connected to the rest of Istanbul when you want to venture out. Sometimes the best hotel experiences happen in unexpected places, and this restaurant and hotel combination in Esenler is definitely one of those pleasant surprises.

Guest Reviews
The location is good for families, but the food is expensive - high prices and nothing special, so it's better to eat somewhere in the Centre of the city. Just next to the hotel there are small restaurans, where you can find good food & Breakfast, so this is not a big issue.
It looks far from the centre, but actually the main attactions for the kids & shopping that we visited in our trip - Aquarium Istanbul, Mall of Istanbul and Lego Land - Forum mall are about 20 min by car or cab and on these directions there are no big traffic jams. The centre of Istanbul is about 40 min by car, but it depends where are you going, avoid traveling in the rush hours. There are taxi drivers outside the hotel with a specific signs. In the city you should fix the price before, because Istanbul is a really big city with a huge traffic jams.
In the centre there are also many attractions for kids - boat trip for 2 hours in the Golden Horn and Black Sea. Shopping, restaurans with delicious food and sweets on a competite prices. We had a great time in Istanbul!
quiet aircon, range of breakfast food, quiet area, nice crew.
Nice underground parking
Nice breakfast
