New Inn Hotel Old Town Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to New Inn Hotel Old Town, you immediately get that feeling you’re in the right place. This four-star property sits right on Adnan Menderes Boulevard in Fatih, and honestly — the location couldn’t be better for exploring Istanbul‘s historic heart. The building has this welcoming, boutique feel that’s refreshingly different from the massive chain hotels you see everywhere else in the city.

The Perfect Old Town Base

What I love about staying here is how walkable everything becomes. You’re literally minutes from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar — but you know what’s even better? The neighborhood itself feels authentically Turkish, not like some tourist bubble. I mean, you can grab proper Turkish breakfast from local spots just around the corner, and the tram stop is close enough that getting to Galata or the modern districts is actually pretty easy. Couples especially seem to get this location (they rate it 9.0), and I can see why — there’s something romantic about wandering these old streets together.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was well-thought-out, with that clean, modern comfort you want after a long day of sightseeing. Nothing overly fancy, but everything worked perfectly — good Wi-Fi, comfortable bed, and a bathroom that actually had decent water pressure (trust me, that’s not always a given in this part of the city). The windows let in plenty of light, and you can hear the gentle hum of the neighborhood below, which somehow adds to the authentic Istanbul experience rather than detracting from it. Storage space was thoughtfully designed, making it easy to unpack and settle in.

Breakfast Worth Waking Up For

Here’s where this place really surprised me — the breakfast spread is genuinely impressive. They’ve got everything from continental classics to proper Turkish items, plus Italian options, and they actually cater well to different dietary needs with vegetarian, vegan, and halal choices. There’s even Asian and American options if you’re craving something familiar. It’s set up buffet-style, so you can take your time and try a bit of everything — which I definitely recommend doing. The quality of ingredients and attention to detail really sets this apart from typical hotel breakfasts.

Why Guests Love It

The 9.4 rating this place gets makes total sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s that sweet spot where you get genuine Turkish hospitality without sacrificing modern comfort, and the staff clearly knows what travelers actually need. The location alone would make this worth booking — being this close to the major sights while still feeling like you’re staying in a real neighborhood rather than a tourist zone is pretty rare. Plus, there’s something satisfying about finding a place that delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, this hotel consistently exceeds expectations.

I had a fantastic stay at this new hotel! The facilities were modern and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Special thanks to Kerim and Mehmet for their exceptional service—they were always friendly, attentive, and eager to help. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great experience!

    Ok

  • Dejan from Bosnia and Herzegovina (10/10)

We spent three nights in this hotel, which deserves 5 stars. The incredible hospitality, cleanliness, and tidiness left us speechless, and believe me, I'm not exaggerating at all. Metro station is close to the hotel and that is a direct line to the expo fair . Also if you want a metro connection from Istanbul airport you can use this metro line . The first tram station is a couple of hundred meters away and this line leads to the Aya Sofya and old Kapaly market . It is the perfect location for exploring the city using public transport . Breakfast is various and freshly made every morning .

  • Olga from Bulgaria (9/10)

Very clean, comfortable and new hotel. For the tourists travelling with a car it is a big advantage that the hotel offers a car parking lot in front of the hotel and you don't have to worry when leaving a car in some private parking away from a hotel. Since the hotel is situated on the busy boulevard there is a heavy traffic, but overall this didn't interrupt us and we had a good sleep. The hotel is situated very close to the public transport stops, both busses and metro station, cafes and restaurants. The personal is very polite, helpful and polite!
