The soundproofing worked well too, considering you’re on a busy street — I could hear the city humming below but it never kept me awake.

The buffet setup flows well, so you’re not stuck in those annoying breakfast traffic jams, and they even do breakfast to go if you’re rushing off to catch a morning flight or tour. There’s also a restaurant on-site that serves decent international fare, though honestly, with all of Istanbul’s incredible food scene right outside your door, you’ll probably want to explore.

  The staff at the reception is amazing, very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and comfy and the bed was comfortable and large. I asked to bring me an iron, got it 10 minutes later. It was nice to have two bottles of water for free each day. And although there was no indication on booking.com whether the breakfast would be included, it was. For me the location was very convenient for my purposes. It is a bit noisy both from outside and inside (I could hear pings from the elevators through the night) but manageable.
