FOUR SEVEN HOTEL
First Impressions
Walking up to FOUR SEVEN HOTEL on İnkılap Caddesi, you immediately get that feeling of being in the thick of things — but in a good way. This four-star property sits right in the Aksaray district of Fatih, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better for exploring authentic Istanbul. The building itself has that modern Turkish hotel vibe without trying too hard, and you can tell from the moment you step inside that they’ve put thought into making travelers feel comfortable.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about staying in Aksaray — you’re actually living like locals do, not just passing through tourist spots. The area buzzes with real Istanbul energy, from the tea houses on nearby corners to the small shops that stay open late. You know what’s really convenient? The metro connections are fantastic from here, so getting to Sultanahmet or across the Golden Horn takes maybe 15 minutes. Couples seem to get this location thing too — they consistently rate it around 9.0, which makes sense when you realize how easy it is to slip away for romantic evening walks or find those hidden restaurants that guidebooks miss.
Your Room and Comfort
The room setup here is what I’d call “smart modern” — they’ve figured out how to make spaces feel larger than they probably are, which is crucial in Istanbul where every square meter counts. The beds are actually comfortable (not always a given in mid-range Turkish hotels), and the bathrooms work properly with decent water pressure. I mean, after a long day walking around the city’s hills, you want a shower that delivers, right? The air conditioning runs quietly, which matters more than you might think when you’re trying to sleep in a bustling neighborhood.
Morning Fuel
The breakfast situation deserves mention — they do a proper Turkish buffet spread that’s halal-certified, so there’s something for everyone. What struck me was how they balance traditional Turkish breakfast items (those amazing cheeses, olives, fresh bread) with international options. The tea is strong and proper, the way it should be, and there’s usually fresh fruit that actually tastes like something. It’s the kind of breakfast that sets you up for a full day of sightseeing without leaving you feeling heavy or rushed.
Why Guests Love It
With an 8.9 location score, this place has clearly figured out the sweet spot between accessibility and authenticity. You’re close enough to major attractions that taxi rides don’t break the bank, but far enough from the tourist crowds that you can grab dinner at normal prices. The staff seems to understand that travelers want practical help — they’ll actually give you useful directions instead of just pointing vaguely toward the nearest tram stop. For a four-star hotel in this part of Istanbul, FOUR SEVEN HOTEL delivers that reliable, comfortable experience that lets you focus on exploring the city rather than worrying about where you’re staying.

Guest Reviews
2. Breakfast (7:30-10:30): enough options to choose. Few types of cheese, eggs, vegetables and fruits, bakery and bread, butter, jam, Nutella, honey. We were never left hungry and food was tasty and fresh despite the fact sometimes we were there at the very last moment.
3. Furniture in the room (#203): for this price it was very good - big bed, wardrobe, chair and table, big mirror, fridge. Slippers also were there, but for man they are too small.
4. Hotel stuff: overall good, but one reception guy didn't speak English much, cleaning don't speak English at all.
