Couples absolutely get this location (they rate it 8.9, and I can see why) because there’s something romantic about watching the ferries glide by while you’re sipping Turkish tea at one of the nearby cafés.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this clean, contemporary design that felt fresh without trying too hard to be trendy. What really impressed me was the attention to detail — good lighting for actually reading, decent storage space, and a bathroom that didn’t feel like an afterthought. The windows in many rooms offer glimpses of the water, and if you’re lucky enough to get a higher floor, the views across the Golden Horn toward the old city are pretty spectacular, especially at sunset.

The buffet breakfast here is solid — not groundbreaking, but they do the Turkish classics well alongside some international options. I mean, you’re getting fresh bread, local cheeses, olives, and that thick Turkish honey that’s worth the trip alone.   Friendly staff at check in and those who helped to take luggage’s up and out. We were kindly upgraded to a bigger room and there was a nice view of the galata tower. The view from the breakfast area was beautiful.

  The hotel's location is great – close to all historic sites at walking distance but also there is a metro station near by (very convenient for going up to Taxim square, if don't like steep streets:-).
  The room was a big size with a great view to the sea and historical sites in the opposite shore. The bed was comfortable with 2 options for the pillows (small and bigger). There was a kettle for coffee and tea and daily supply of 1.5 l of bottled water. The breakfast was very good with different choices, served in the restaurant on the top floor with a amazing view to the sea. There was any options for eating nearby – from street food like simids (local bagels) and fish sandwiches to very fine restaurants.

  It’s nice and tidy, great service. The ladies at the lobby are wonderful and the gents are very helpful they will make sure you’ll have a great experience. Every time I come to Istanbul I just like to be in this hotel. Its got a very nice view, if your looking for a more mellow side go for the galata view rooms. It’s a walking distance from TAQSEEM and Galata tour where you enjoy walking in the heart of the city’s hillock ally and old building that will take you back in time. People around are so friendly and helpful… hint bring your charger adaptor if your coming from US.
