  This was a self-catering apartment. The kitchen was nicely equipped and there was a dining table for four. The bed was very comfy and it was nice to have the courtyard to sit in. We were in easy walking distance to the main tourist attractions- Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, and enjoyed the food in the eateries on the corner to our street. Yet the location was still quiet at night.

  On the positive side, the location is just perfect, absolutely fantastic. There are two very affordable restaurants with good food just down the street, while most restaurants in the area are quite expensive. Also, there are plenty of good small, cheap restaurants up the hill. Additionally, there is a nearby park with a fountain and a children playground. This is probably one of the best areas in Istanbul. Most major attractions are within walking distance. Just a 200-meter walk uphill, and you can catch trams and get to any part of the city easily. There is also a pharmacy nearby in case of health issues. The bed was soft and comfortable. I also appreciated the availability of appliances like a hairdryer, iron, ironing board, drying racks, and a washing machine. There were plenty of towels, a full set of bed linens, and all the necessary dishes. This was a big plus.

  The apartment is so nice – spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated, and equipped with everything we could want for a 5 day stay. Hot water and a great shower. AC throughout. It has a little outside area. It was very fairly priced. Mrs Gul who let us in was lovely and the owner responded to queries promptly. The area is really interesting and it's close to the Bue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, etc. A great stay!
