The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was clean and functional, though don’t expect anything too fancy. What impressed me was the attention to detail — good blackout curtains (essential for those early morning calls to prayer), decent water pressure, and air conditioning that actually works. The beds are comfortable enough, and there’s adequate storage space for a week-long stay. I mean, it’s not going to win any design awards, but everything you need is there and it’s well-maintained.

Breakfast & Dining

The buffet breakfast is actually pretty solid — they’ve got the usual suspects like fresh bread, cheese, olives, and Turkish tea, but also some hot options that change daily. What I appreciated was that they keep it well-stocked even later in the morning, so you don’t have to rush down at 7 AM to get the good stuff. There’s no full restaurant on-site, but honestly, with all the incredible food options in the neighborhood, you’re not missing much.

  It was my first stay in Amethyst Hotel. Who is coming for business – it's a PERFECT LOCATION!
  Hotel staff are very friendly, polite and understanding, very professional and helpful. I had some issues with the room, and everything has been sorted straight away. Very appreciate! I stayed in room 701 and had a sea view. In the room: tea/coffee facilities, bottles of water complimentary, bathrobes and slippers, toiletries, good water pressure, TV, very comfy bed and bedding, good lighting in the room and bathroom. Public transport is close to the hotel. Historical places also in 5 minutes walk.
  During the night, it was very quiet in the hotel, and I didn't hear neighbours at all, but the hotel was almost fully booked.

  Good location about 1km from the grand bazar. Hotel public areas are clean and well decorated. Excellent breakfast buffet and reasonable choice of evening meals.

  Fantastic location, very nice hotel, lovely big pool, good breakfast. Bags were brought up for us. Very clean. The Spa manager was so friendly and welcoming. She was very good with our toddler and held her as we both changed. She took the time to encourage our daughter to explore the childrens pool.
